Pajarillo Verde is a beautiful Venezuelan song about the pain and nostalgia of a lost love. A song that evokes feelings I'm sure we have all known at some point!
Multi-lingual songwriter and vocalist, Oriana Bohème's songs are voyages. Explorations of identity through sound, image, legends and lyrical poetry.
Her love of music began in childhood, with choral tradition. She shaped her eclectic style thanks to artists such as Kirsty MacColl, Led Zeppelin, Smoke City, Bebel Gilberto, Serge Gainsbourg, Stereolab, Jeff Buckley and Fela Kuti.
Oriana is still undecided if her musical persona and daily persona are one and the same.

Oriana Bohème is a boat-dwelling singer-songwriter and photographer, currently based in London.
She began her career as teenage manager of a school band, whose lead singer, Fyfe Dangerfield, went on to form Mercury-nominated band, Guillemots. Bohème's longstanding collaboration with Dangerfield has included her filming for Guillemots and singing and co-composing on several projects.
Through collaborations with former Guillemots drummer, Greig Stewart , Latin musician, Baldo Verdú , and Headswim and BlackCar frontman, Dan Glendining, Bohème has evolved as an artist in her own right.
Oriana’s story has been shaped by travel and adventure, bringing a fluidity of language and culture to both her music and collaborations. Her first album, The Tigers of Bardo, contains 15 tracks, including original work and covers of classical songs by Cesária Évora, Simón Díaz and Jorge de Altinho. The album was recorded at Black Bay Studio in the Outer Hebrides, which brought spontaneous musical support from the Scottish studio’s own network, in the form of classical accordion player, Zach Ronan.
To satisfy her need to sing in other languages, Bohème formed O.Bo & The Birds in 2023. The band consists of Diego Laverde (harpist, Venezuelan cuatro), Chebeto Requena (Venezuelan cuatro, mandolin, clarinet, flute, vocals) and Henry Bravo (percussion, vocals). Together they perform covers of folk music from across the globe along with their own original songs.
2025 will see Bohème releasing and performing her original songs, accompanied by Argentinian-born Adrián Mozzi.
Bohème is collaborating on an exciting project with French producer Apadelou. Keep your ears peeled for this later on in the Spring..
In other exciting news, Bohème has been beavering away on some new cover songs. More on this later in the year! x
In its very early stages, a new musical collaboration is being brewed behind the scenes, but you'll have to wait for more info, as Bohème's lips are currently sealed!
